Boltless Shelving
The 120,000-square-foot facility holds about 150,000 distinct sample types, stock keeping units in industry parlance, but it can hold close to 300,000 if needed. With the help of 10 Lucas robots, the robots can pick up to 8 orders at a time, holding different colored crates for each. Robots take the collected samples to be packed up by material handlers.
